Crispy rice with vegetables

A kind of rice crisps poured with a sauce with vegetables

ingrediënten (voor 2 personen):
  • rice crisps
  • 1 onion
  • 1 spring onion
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 bag of chinese cabbage(100 gr)
  • 4 chinese mushrooms
  • vinegar, soy sauce
  • ginger, garlic
  • sugar
  • corn starch
  • white pepper, salt

  1. Chop up the ginger and garlic. Cut the onion, spring onion, tomato and mushrooms into pieces.
  2. Mix a sauce of half a tablespoon of corn starch, 3 tablespoons of sugar, 2 tablespoons of vinegar and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce.
  3. Heat some oil in a stirfrying pan, and add the ginger, garlic and onion. Add the tomato, cabbage and mushrooms. Add some salt and white pepper. Add some water, and when this boils, add the sauce mixed earlier. Miz this, add the spring onion, and put aside.
  4. Deepfry the rice crisps briefly and put them on a serving plate.
  5. Pour the sauce with vegetables over the rice crisps.
  6. Serve with rice.
tip: When pouring the sauce over the rice crisps, it makes a cracking noise. Nice to do in front of your guests! Serve directly, or the rice crisps will become soft.
